About the Event

FREE KIDS WORKSHOP

Open to all ages!

Join us this Sunday, September 14th, from 2-4 pm for another special FREE Steam Works session—Fantastical Mask Making!

Led by artist Meaghan Elyse, who is showcasing her whimsical installation Lighthouse of Moth at The Boiler, this workshop is an invitation to explore your imagination and craft your own magical mask that reflects your inner light. We’ll turn old scraps, fabrics, and other found treasures into fantastic creatures like fluttering moths, colorful birds, and shimmering seashells.

Bring your creativity—and any special materials such as beads or fabrics you’d like to use—to add your personal touch. Plus, we’ll take a special moment to explore Meaghan’s art installation, where we’ll listen and observe, letting the artwork inspire our own magical stories.

Perfect for young artists ready to weave their own stories and discover the wonders of mask-making.

The workshops are open to youth and Families.

Tell your neighbors and bring some friends! We look forward to creating with you!

PLEASE RSVP - SO THAT WE ARE SURE TO HAVE SUFFICIENT SUPPLIES.
