FREE KIDS WORKSHOP
Ages 10 and up
Join us this Sunday, June 23rd, from 2-4 pm for another special FREE Steam Works session—Painting on Water.
Led by artist Baris Gokturk, who is currently exhibiting his work in the group show Object / Boundary, on view in The Boiler.
Baris will talk about Ebru, the Turkish art of marbling followed by a hands-on workshop on how to design and paint with inks on water. The designs created on water will then be transferred onto paper and utilized for further art ideas and applications in 2D and 3D.
The workshops are open to youth and Families.
